Lykke P2026-06-19Verified Hike on Ukkusissat - Store Marlene I can warmly recommend Two Ravens, if you plan a hike to Ukkusissat - Store Marlene. I got good advice on how to prepare for the hike already from my first contact to Two Ravens and the guide, Pilu, was great and very well prepared. I really enjoyed it all. Ezra M2026-05-11Verified On Top Of The World Ella, Rikke & Stig are rockstars! They took a middle-aged married couple from Florida (who had never worn snowshoes) on the trip of a lifetime. High atop Greenland's breathtaking fjords 4,000 feet above sea level, with nothing but mountains, glaciers and ocean for a hundred miles to every horizon. Helo landed on a small plateau and we hiked the remaining 1,000 feet to the summit. Lunch atop the roof of the world before descending back to the landing zone, and a jaw-dropping flight over the fjords on the return to Nuuk airport. Our guides Ella & Rikke were talented, experienced, patient and supportive... with a light touch and a great sense of humor. Our pilot Stig was an absolute pro... always stuck the landing with spectacular photo ops at every turn. Check this off your bucket list while Greenland remains lovely, pristine and mostly free of visitors. We unconditionally recommend Two Ravens for one of life's unique peak experiences... pun intended!! Scarlett W2026-04-01Verified Once in a lifetime experience! Although the weather was really against us during our experience, our guide Malik was excellent! He was so patient with us (we came quite unprepared for the snowstorms), and kept us safe and as warm as he possibly could until the next morning! He brought plenty of snacks and hot drinks to keep us going, and kept our spirits up when the snow tried to get us down! It was truly a once in a lifetime experience, and anyone up for the challenge should definitely go with Two Ravens as we couldn't imagine anyone else being as incredible and accommodating throughout the entire trip :) Leanne W2025-08-18Verified Nuuk Backcountry Adventure My husband and I had an awesome adventure with Two Ravens. We originally had a 3-day backcountry hiking/camping trip planned, but the weather had other plans for us! Due to extreme wind in the forecast overnight, it looked like we would have to delay our trip by a day. However, Ella quickly pivoted and was able to secure us backcountry cabin accommodations so we could still go out. When the weather kept us from hiking to our boat pickup the next morning, we pivoted again! While we didn't cover as many kms as we initially anticipated, we ended up having a relaxing trip exploring the beautiful Teqqiinngalik glacier and valley. We wouldn't have changed anything. Our guide, Erne, was a wealth of knowledge and kept us safe and entertained. We would book again in a heartbeat. Thank you for everything! Meander601392364892025-08-13Verified Exellent hike near Nuuk with Ernie from tworavens Great experience with tworavens in Nuuk. We had an excellent guide, Ernie, from tworavens who gave as good geographical and culturals insights. Linda2025-08-10Verified A true adventure What an adventure! Camping, hiking and paddle boarding by the icebergs! I had a wonderful time! Magic to see such views, learn about the Greenlandic nature and way of living. Thorlak is the best 🤩 showing us everything, making sure we had a great time and encouraging and helping me to make the at some parts quite challenging hikes. Martin K2025-08-07Verified Highly recommended Had a great experience at the Two Ravens Wilderness camp: the nature, the hikes, the guide, the fjord, even the weather was amazing. The service was perfect, from start to end, guaranteeing a fantastic Greenland experience. Theodore M2025-07-27Verified Three awesome Nuuk area hikes! We (a 62 year old and his 29 year old son) did three one day Nuuk area hikes with Two Ravens. Thorlak guided the two more challenging hikes (Mountain Ridge and Oriartorfik) and is an excellent guide: safety aware, encouraging, knowledgeable, friendly and challenging. On the Mountain Ridge hike, we went past the view point all the way to the summit, and were glad we did - spectacular 360 views similar to the Oriartorfik summit. Both hikes are strenuous, but with somewhat different hiking challenges. If it’s summertime, definitely bring a mosquito net (even the guides regretted not having one). Clothing layers are also important. The two big hikes were both outstanding and memorable hikes - well worth the day or two of sore legs. Our third hike was Quassussaug, which was less than half the elevation gain, and a fun hike with a small group that summits the mountain overlooking the airport. It was a nice recovery hike in between the two big hikes. We had two people from Thorlak’s team join us on Oriartorfik, and enjoyed their company and the perspective they added to the hike. William K2025-03-01Verified Amazing nighttime snowshoeing in the back country! We went on 3 hour night snowshoe hike with Thorlak. Weather was forecast for overcast so seeing the Northern Lights was a "lottery", but Thorlak provided an amazing experience nonetheless. Thorlak is extremely experienced and trained in all aspects of outdoor adventures and guiding. Shared great stories with us about some of his incredible life experiences as we enjoyed the beauty and utter silence of nighttime in the snow in the backcountry of Greenland! We snowshowed about 1km up a modest hill and across a frozen lake, then enjoyed hot drinks and sweet biscuits against a large rock to protect against a winter wind that didn't blow an a perfectly still night. Dry, light snow sprinkled down upon us on our return trip as we re-approached civilization and enjoyed the postcard view of Nuuk's nightlights. We are already planning a future visit to Greenland so we can go on a summer adventure with Thorlak. Highly recommend!
