Day 1 - Wilderness Immersion and Infinity Pool Hike

Upon early arrival, excitement fills the crisp, winter air as you settle into camp. After a briefing on camp operations, you’ll embark on a 7-kilometer snowshoe hike, taking around 5 hours, to a serene winter wonderland southeast of the camp. The trail, blanketed in snow and suitable for all fitness levels, offers breathtaking views of the snow-covered fjord system and towering peaks reaching 1000 meters. The tranquility of the snow-covered landscape will refresh your senses and wash away any travel fatigue.

As the day ends, gather around the fire for a cozy communal dinner, sharing stories and laughter beneath the winter sky.

Day 2 - Exploration

After the previous day’s snowshoe hike, we’ll start the morning with a delightful breakfast and steaming cup of coffee. At basecamp, the atmosphere shifts to one of pure relaxation. The sauna tent will be warmed up, offering a cozy retreat to unwind and rejuvenate. For those eager for a bit of adventure, try out our stand-up paddleboards (SUPs) on the icy waters—perfect for a unique winter experience.

Explore the stunning snowy beach, where the only sound is the gentle lapping of frozen waves, or test your fishing skills from the shore. With a fishing rod in hand, you might catch something delicious to add to our evening meal. Whether you’re preparing fresh fish or simply enjoying the winter wonderland, every moment in Greenland offers a chance to connect deeply with nature.

Day 3 - SUP adventure and The Shark Fin Hike

After a hearty breakfast, gear up for one final day of adventure. We’ll start by paddling with our stand-up paddleboards (SUPs) for approximately 30 minutes on the icy waters of Itisoq Bay. Once we reach the snow-covered shore, we’ll set off on a captivating snowshoe hike toward the majestic peak we call “The Shark Fin.”

Prepare to be awestruck by the panoramic winter vistas, with snow-draped mountains and the expansive eastern part of the world’s second-largest fjord system as your backdrop. As the day concludes, we’ll head back to town, carrying with us a collection of unforgettable experiences and countless stories to share with loved ones at home.

Day 4 - SUP Adventure and Ridge Snowshoe Hike

Today, we set out for an exhilarating ridge hike amidst towering mountains and breathtaking fjords. We begin with an adventurous paddle across the bay on our SUP’s, gliding through icy waters that reflect the stunning winter landscape. Each stroke brings us closer to our destination, where the snowy scenery unfolds in picture-perfect vistas.

As we reach the shore, prepare for a ridge hike that will take you through the heart of winter. Conquer the heights, feel the adrenaline surge as you navigate the snow-covered terrain, and immerse yourself in the majestic beauty of the snow-clad mountains. This is your chance to witness nature’s winter.

Day 5 - hike towards the majestic "Shark Fin" mountain.

After a hearty breakfast, prepare for one last epic day of exploration. We’ll start with a 30-minute paddle across the icy waters of Itisoq Bay on our stand-up paddleboards (SUPs)—hiking this distance is also an option. Upon reaching the snow-covered shore, we’ll embark on a thrilling ridge hike towards the majestic “Shark Fin” mountain.

Experience awe-inspiring winter vistas, with snow-draped mountains and the expansive eastern part of the world’s second-largest fjord system as your backdrop. After soaking in the breathtaking views, we’ll head back to basecamp and then to Nuuk, carrying with us a treasure trove of unforgettable memories and stories to share with loved ones.

Day 6 - Beautiful mountains terrain and hands on a glazier.

On the final day of your 6-day winter adventure, we will sail into the snow-covered Kangerluarsunnguaq area, also known as Kang Ski. You’ll explore crisp, mountainous terrain framed by icy fjord vistas. This moderate hike offers a true Arctic wilderness experience, with snow-blanketed hills and rugged peaks creating a breathtaking winter backdrop. Breathe in the crisp, cold air and take in the serene silence of this pristine landscape as you reflect on your journey and embrace the peaceful Arctic surroundings before concluding your unforgettable winter trip.

Where and what time do we meet?

We meet at The Tide Stair by the harbour at 9.30

How do I get to the meeting point?

You can either take the bus nr. 2 to Qatserisut bus stop and walk down to The Tide Stair by the harbour or take a taxi to The Tidal Stairs. 

Is there water?

Yes, there is meltwater from the glacier we have access to.

Is there electricity or a possibility to charge electronic devices?

No. We suggest to bring your own solar panels or power banks.

Do I need to bring own cutlery?

No, we’ve got you covered.

Yes, we have a simple camp toilet and high quality toilet paper.

Is there phone reception?

There is no phone reception, only if you hike more than an hour up the mountain.

Can I bring and drink alcohol on the trip?

Yes, you are allowed to. Please for safety, drink responsibly and respect the rest of the group.

What happens if it’s bad weather?

We keep an eye on forecasts, and will inform the guests in time.
