Destination
Beginning with an exhilarating scenic flight from Nuuk Airport, you’ll see breathtaking views of the spectacular fiord system behind Nuuk before landing 1,100 meters above sea level to begin your hike.
At the airport your guide and pilot, will take you to the heli pad and get you ready to board the helicopter. Adrenaline levels start to spike as you board your helicopter and are whisked away over the fine landscape – an opportunity to take in the full panoramic views of the fiord with the surrounding mountains.
Your pilot will land you high up on the mountain, where your guide will help you make the final preparations for your snowshoe hike before you head off to explore the incredible mountain of Itisooq, 1100 meters above sea level. Our guides are highly skilled, and will show you the safe route to the top. You can be sure that you’re seeing the surroundings in a unique state.
The helicopter flight is more than just a transfer, it includes a sightseeing part as well where you among other will see the iconic landmark of Nuuk, the Sermitsiaq mountain, close up.

Details
We require a minimum of 4 for this trip to be confirmed.
Meeting time is 8.30 am at Nuuk airport and you will be back at the airport at 2.30 pm.
