Island sleepover
Try a different sleepover on a desolated island in the outskirts of Nuuk. After a 30 minutes sail we will be dropped off on the islands called ‘Qeqertat’, which means ‘Islands’ – pretty cool huh?! Sandy beaches, bonfire and beautiful views right in the middle of one of the biggest fiord systems in the world. Here you will be limited by the size of the island, making you surrender to the tranquility of the nature, or whatever your imagination will bring you up to! A typical local island dinner and a camping style breakfast is included.
(A minimum of 4 pax required to do the trip, and a maximum of 10 pax).
Possible to rent sleeping bag and pad for 300 DKK.
Location: Qeqertat
Practical info:
Pick up at the colonial harbour on the pier at 15.00. Sail in to location will be in a small open boat, so be prepared for some wind in your hair. The weather in our nature here is a cheeky one, so bring suited clothing, especially the stuff that keeps you dry. Camping will be in separate 2 person tents, with one big base tent for meals and gatherings. The cell phone reception that Tom Hanks didn’t have in Cast away is on the island, but no power supply though. Sail back to Nuuk will be the next day at 12.00.
