Mountain Ridge Hike

A trip for the ones who are ready for a bit more adventure, where the rewards lies at an amazing 360 degrees view at Kangilia. The big open sea looking west, one of the biggest fiord systems in the world looking north, east and south, and 750 meters of almost sheer wall on the southside. From here you will realize how vast the backcountry of Nuuk is, and get a feeling of the enormous distances here. The hike begins at the edge of the city, and brings you away to the wildernes, walking between the mountains and frozen lakes. It’s an even ascend which might make you work a little harder, but we guarantee that it will get more and more beautiful for every step!

A minimum of 3 and max 8 persons to do the trip. (Bigger groups can be done on request).

Included: Snowshoe rental, lunch, snacks, coffee & tea.

When?

This tour runs Mondays, Thursday and Sundays.

Practical info:

Bring a small backpack with ekstra layers to put on at rests, and water.
