In the backdrop of our capitol, stands a noticeable mountain named Ukkusissat with a height of 761 M. A popular mountain for local hikers, but still a demanding mountain where local knowledge and experience is needed for a safe hike to the summit.
On this 5 hour hike with us, you will get the true feeling of summiting a proper mountain as you can stand on the very top, able to look 360 degrees around the fiord, mountains and sea. You will also be able to see every part of the capitol from above. Stunning views!
On a summertrip you will move faster, so a little detour might be possible for some hidden gems. On a winter trip it will be with snowshoes and crampons, making it a little more adventurous.
