Can I rent ski touring equipment from you?

No, you should bring your own skis and boots suitable for skitouring.

Do you have safety gear available for rent?

For our heliskiing trips, we provide avalanche airbags (avypacks), beacons, probes, and shovels. Skitouring guests must bring their own avalanche safety equipment.

Do you offer single-day skitouring trips?

We mainly offer multi-day trips, but single-day tours can be arranged upon request.

How experienced should I be to join your tours?

Participants should be reasonably fit. Tours are tailored according to the group’s skill and fitness levels, ensuring safety and enjoyment.

What type of skis do you recommend for your tours?

We recommend skis specifically designed for skitouring, which you feel comfortable using in varied snow conditions.

What safety measures do you take on your skitouring tours?

We prioritize safety with:

  • Experienced Guides: Knowledgeable guides familiar with local terrain, weather, and avalanche conditions.
  • Risk Assessment: Thorough pre-tour evaluations of snow, terrain, and weather conditions.
  • Safety Equipment: Mandatory avalanche safety gear (transceivers, probes, shovels), with training on proper use.
  • Pre-Tour Briefings: Detailed discussions on route plans, emergency procedures, and equipment use.
  • Group Management: Small groups for close supervision and efficient responses.
  • Communication: Guides equipped with reliable communication devices.

How large are the groups on your skitouring tours?

Groups typically consist of 8–12 people.

What is included in your skitouring packages?

Our packages include guided tours, meals, transfers, and essential logistical support. Airfare to and from Greenland and hotel accommodations are not included.

Do you arrange accommodations for multi-day tours?

Yes, we can arrange comfortable accommodations for multi-day trips.

Is it possible to combine skitouring with other activities?

Absolutely. You can combine skitouring with additional activities either before or after your tour.

Do you provide guiding in English and other languages?

Guiding is available in English, Danish, and Greenlandic.

What clothing do you recommend for skitouring in Greenland?

We recommend layered clothing suitable for varying temperatures, waterproof shell layers, and a warm down jacket for breaks.

How do weather conditions affect your skitouring tours?

Safety is our top priority. Tours may be adjusted or relocated according to weather and snow conditions.

Participants aged 15 and older are welcome, provided they have solid skiing skills and sufficient stamina for safe participation.
