Itinerary

Day 1 - Into the Fjord

Meet your guide in Nuuk harbour for a gear check and safety briefing to prepare for the days ahead. Take a short boat ride (about 20 minutes) through the fjord to the landing at Kang. From here, it’s a gentle 2 to 3-kilometer hike to your cabin, your retreat for the next two nights.

Spend the afternoon exploring nearby ridges and viewpoints on snowshoes, getting familiar with the quiet terrain.

In the evening, enjoy a comforting dinner served in the communal cabin. Sleep in cozy, heated shared cabins with soft lighting to soothe after an active day.

Total distance: 4-5 km

Day 2 - Glacier & Sauna Night

Begin the day with breakfast and warm coffee, surrounded by Arctic views stretching as far as the eye can see.

Spend the day snowshoeing through pristine landscapes, following your guide’s lead. Routes are chosen with care, from easy strolls to more challenging ridgelines – some may include a trek up to the base of Teqqiinngalik Glacier.

Enjoy a picnic lunch out in the field, breathing crisp air and admiring the stillness around you. Return to camp in the afternoon for hot drinks and time to rest.

The evening offers another soothing sauna session, paired with dinner and stories shared by your guide. For those interested, the night might include opportunities to photograph the northern lights or simply watch the stars dance overhead.

Total distance: 5-10 km

Day 3 - Snowshoeing and Fjord Views

Wake with morning coffee while enjoying the view from the cabin of the winter wonderland outside. We prepare for our last snowshoe walk around the valley to another beautiful viewpoint of the area.

Back at the cabin we pack up and make the return journey down to the boat landing where out transfer back to Nuuk will be waiting for us. Enjoy the boat ride back to Nuuk, arriving in the afternoon ready to carry the peace of the fjord with you.

Total distance: 7-10 km
